Trevor L. Bannister

Trevor L. Bannister is an Associate with the firm. Mr. Bannister specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Bannister’s practice is directed towards drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the computer software and hardware arts. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bannister was a patent attorney for an intellectual property law firm focusing on electrical, computer software and hardware, and wireless communication technologies. While at this firm, his practice centered on patent preparation and prosecution and client counseling in a range of intellectual property matters.

Before entering the practice of law, Mr. Bannister worked as an information technology network analyst and as a controls engineer for a pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer.

Mr. Bannister is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

At the University of Pittsburgh, he was a member of the Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law, the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Certificate Program. Mr. Bannister received degrees in Biological Sciences and Computer Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
